We start the year with an improvement in our communictaions: a new IT infrastructure project has been launched, which includes a revamping of servers, internet connection speed and security.
During the month of February, Symaga Group at its headquarters in Villarta de San Juan has installed a cluster that guarantees internal non-stop communications, without network outages, increasing capacity and computer speed processes. Our current server is being replaced by two mirrored servers, so in the event of a data transmission failure in one, the other continues to work. These servers guarantee seamless communications with our ERP, Sage X3, which was implemented in 2018; and optimize communication between our Madrid offices and Villarta de San Juan headquarters.
To boost security, the servers are in different RACs and backups are made on an external server.
In addition to this computer infrastructure Project, Symaga’s Digital Transformation plan includes the roll out of SGA and MES systems project. These steps reflects Symaga Group’s philosophy of continuous improvement. After an in-depth technological audit, different projects have been launched to improve and optimize all processes, from the quotation process to delivery of our products.
